How to become a coach

Level 200 Certification - required for all contact teams

1. Complete IRB Rugby Ready Program online (free)

2. Complete SafeSport Modules online (free)

2. Register and complete a 1-day USA Rugby Coaching Course (approximately $80)

Then what?

1. Register (CIPP) as a coach with USA Rugby

2. Pass a background check run by USA Rugby

Once you are certified, in order to maintain an active status you must complete 10 hours of professional develop courses every year available online.
